At Moon Creek Farms we are raising and training your next equine essay. We shop for promising young colts, focusing on Tennessee Walkers, though prospects for other disciplines are available as well.

Our intensive individual program starts with basic handling and haltering. Colts are advanced only when they are ready, and are provided with a solid foundation in round pen training and ground basics such as trailering, farrier safety, clipping, etc. When colts have matured enough to begin riding, under-saddle training is initiated. Through this process, each horse shows us where they will excel.

The colts are then educated in the basics of their individual events and offered to you to polish and shine. Moon Creek Farms brings in the best trainers for each colt's unique requirements, and in many cases multiple trainers are used.
